Mindful Worship Meditation #31 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Faithfulness
January 26th, 2011 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Rose In Hands This meditation is the eighth of a ten part series on The
Fruit of the Spirit. So often, when we think of faithfulness, we
consider only our own faithfulness toward God. However, just as God is
faithful to us, so has he called us to be faithful to others. God wants
people to see His faithfulness expressed through us toward them. In
this meditation you'll contemplate and explore God's faithfulness
toward you and the fruit of faithfulness in your own life-the fruit of
the Spirit is Faithfulness.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and the next five episodes focused on the fruits of Love, Joy,
Peace, Patience, Kindness, and Goodness. If you would like to do this
particular series of biblical meditations in order, you'll want to
begin with these seven meditations.
Once again, it's hard to believe that it has been nearly 3 months since
I've published a new meditation. I recently hired a Ministry Assistant,
Josh Fredette, to help with many of the tasks here. Josh is a very
talented musician and worship leader. He did the audio mixing and
editing for this meditation. I think you'll agree he did a fantastic
job and is taking the quality here to a whole new level. Please take a
moment to send him a message and welcome him to the ministry. (Photo by

Mindful Worship Meditation #30 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Goodness
October 24th, 2010 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Perfect Flower This meditation is the seventh of a ten part series on
The Fruit of the Spirit. We often label people's actions as being good
or bad. We usually find it easy to judge the actions of others, but it
is more difficult to judge our own actions. God wants our actions to
express excellence in virtue, morality, character, and attitude-a
combined quality called `goodness'. In this meditation you'll
contemplate and explore God's goodness toward you and the fruit of
goodness in your own life-the fruit of the Spirit is Goodness.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and the next five episodes focused on the fruits of Love, Joy,
Peace, Patience, and Kindness. If you would like to do this particular
series of biblical meditations in order, you'll want to begin with
these six meditations.
I continue to appreciate everyone's patience with the release of this
new meditation. At least it hasn't been seven month's again. :-) I'm
praying about hiring a part-time person to help in this ministry! (See
Ecclesiastes 4:9) I strongly prefer someone who is already following
the work here and therefore understands what it's all about. It will be
work-from-home and mostly customer service, web site editing, audio
editing, and Internet marketing; so this person needs to be VERY
computer savvy. If you're interested, or know someone who is, contact
me and let's talk. As always, please leave a comment and let me know
how God uses this mediation in your life! (Photo by Robin Zebrowski.

Mindful Worship Meditation #29 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Kindness
June 19th, 2010 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Homeless and Thirsty This meditation is the sixth of a ten part series
on The Fruit of the Spirit. Personally, I usually think of kindness
more as just generally being nice and friendly to people. However, the
new testament principle of kindness is much more than that. Kindness is
very active. Biblical kindness is actively helping others. In this
meditation you'll contemplate and explore God's kindness toward you
before you were a believer and after you accepted his forgiveness.
You'll also contemplate Jesus' teachings on being kind to those who
oppose you and Paul's teachings on being kind to other believers. God
wants us to bear the fruit of His kindness through us because he was
kind to us. His kindness lead us to repentance and as we allow the Holy
Spirit to produce kindness through us, others will be led to repentance
as well-the fruit of the Spirit is Kindness.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and the next four episodes focused on the fruits of Love, Joy,
Peace, and Patience. If you would like to do this particular series of
biblical meditations in order, you'll want to begin with these five
meditations.
Once again, it's hard to believe that it has been 7 months since I've
published a new meditation. I recently shared on my personal blog about
how I've been dealing with depression and didn't know it. That, along
with other things in my life, prohibited the writing and recording of
this meditation. I would really like to return to producing new
meditations on a regular weekly basis. If this ministry is valuable to
you, and you would like to have more frequent meditations produced,
please lift up me and this ministry in your times of prayer. I would
also like to add some other people to play active roles in this
ministry too. I'm not exactly sure what others might do, but if you
feel God is leading you to take a more active role in the Mindful
Worshp ministry, let me know where you think you might fit in. (Photo

Mindful Worship Meditation #28 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Patience
November 22nd, 2009 - Categories: Free Guided Meditations, Guided
Meditations
Patient Girl at Window This meditation is the fifth of a ten part
series on The Fruit of the Spirit. It has often been said that if you
need patience, you shouldn't ask God for it because the only way to
grow patience is to be put in stressful situations where you have to be
patient. But what about our patience towards God? And more importantly,
what about our patience towards other people? It's so easy to become
frustrated when others don't act the way we expect them to. It's so
easy to want to rush to correct them, to chastise them, and to change
them. God wants us to bear the fruit of His patience through us that
His higher purposes might be achieved-the fruit of the Spirit is
Patience.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and the next three episodes focused on the fruits of Love, Joy,
and Peace. If you would like to do this particular series of biblical
meditations in order, you'll want to begin with these four meditations.
This has been my most challenging meditation to write yet. It's hard to
believe that it has been over 3 months since I've published a new
meditation. I believe that God has been growing the fruit of patience
in my life during this time, and in yours too-especially if you've been
anxiously awaiting the release of this meditation. I'm excited about
the work that He is doing in my life and yours, regardless of the
methods He uses to achieve it. It's a wonderful journey and I'm glad to
take it with wonderful listeners like you. (Photo by Meg Wills.

Articles and Blog Posts about Christian Meditation - Volume 2
August 29th, 2009 - Categories: News
Woman Reading Meditaton Articles on Her MacBook Pro It has been quite
some time since I've connected you to some of the best articles,
editorials, and blog posts I've read about Christian meditation and
meditating on God's Word. When I run across really good articles, I
always make a note of the location-I just haven't been sharing them
with my readers. However, I'm taking a few minutes now to share some. I
expect to share more in a few weeks. Just like in Volume 1, these are
presented in no particular order. I hope you enjoy them!
* I just wrote an article for Praise-and-Worship entitled,
Worship with Meditation. This article provides a brief history of
meditation in the Bible, a summary of my own techniques for
meditating on the scriptures, and an explanation of how meditating
on the scriptures can be an act of worship.
* Phil Pringle is the pastor of Christian City Church Oxford Falls.
Phil prints verses on paper and then meditates on them. As he does
so, he writes his thoughts and comments on the paper using
different colors and styles, then he posts those thoughts and
comments and a picture of his finished work of meditation on his
blog. Try this yourself! I've been doing it some and it has been a
wonderful experience for me.
* Week 2 of the "What Works" series by Phil Fox Rose for Busted Halo
is entitled, What Works: Meditation.
* When I got my first Palm PDA about 9 years ago, the first Bible
software I used on it was by Olive Tree Bible Software. They have a
wonderful article on their web site entitled, Meditating on God's
Word. You don't have to use one of their Bible programs to learn a
great deal from this article though.
* Although it's a very short post, T.J. Francis has a post entitled
Stop and Think... at his The 12th of Isaiah blog, that I think will
make you stop and think.
I have a couple dozen more articles that I can highly recommend, but
I'll save those for another day. If you are aware of some articles,
essays, or blog posts you would like me to consider for future volumes,
feel free to contact me with a link to them. (Photo by Quinn

Mindful Worship Meditation #27 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Peace
August 1st, 2009 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Peaceful Lake This meditation is the fourth of a ten part series on The
Fruit of the Spirit. In today's turbulent world, so many people are
seeking peace. Unfortunately, many are seeking peace through changes to
their circumstances, instead of seeking the peace of Christ in the
midst of, and in spite of, their circumstances. In this guided
Christian meditation, you'll contemplate some of the New Testament
passages that explain what peace is, how Jesus has given us His peace,
and how we can become the blessed peacemakers God has called us to be.
Peace is not something we produce on our own, but rather, the fruit of
the Spirit is Peace.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and the next two episodes focused on the fruits of Love and
Joy. If you would like to do this particular series of biblical
meditations in order, you'll want to begin with these three
meditations. Speaking of peace, you may also enjoy Mindful Worship
Meditation #13 - Jehovah-Shalom, The Lord Is Peace. I've had an
incredible experience with God in my life as He has used the time I've
spent meditating on these passages and asking the Holy Spirit to
produce better quality fruit in my life. I'd love to hear about your
own experiences in the comments. (Photo by Alberto Alerigi. Original on

Mindful Worship Meditation #26 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Joy
April 19th, 2009 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Listening to Meditation on an iPod on the Beach Experiencing Joy This
meditation is the third of a ten part series on The Fruit of the
Spirit. So often, when we hear the word joy, we think about happiness.
However, joy in a Christian's life is much more than mere happiness. In
this guided Christian meditation, you'll contemplate some of the New
Testament passages that explain what joy is, the things the Holy Spirit
uses to produce joy, and how we can apply that joy in our walk with
Christ. Joy is not something we produce on our own, but rather, the
fruit of the Spirit is Joy.
We began this series with a contemplative overview of The Fruit of the
Spirit, and then contemplated how The Fruit of the Spirit is Love. If
you would like to do this particular series of biblical meditations in
order, you'll want to begin with these two meditations. I've had an
incredible experience with God in my life as He has used the time I've
spent meditating on these passages and asking the Holy Spirit to
produce better quality fruit in my life. I'd love to hear about your
own experiences in the comments. (Photo by Seth Anderson. Original on

Mindful Worship Meditation #25 - The Fruit of the Spirit is Love
April 12th, 2009 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Agape - Heart in Bible Pages This meditation is the second of a ten
part series on The Fruit of the Spirit. In Paul's list of the fruits in
Galatians, he lists love first. Love is the primary fruit and in fact,
all the other fruits are not possible without love. In Paul's letter to
the church at Corinth, he listed sixteen qualities of Christian love.
In this meditation, you will contemplate these sixteen qualities from 1
Corinthians 13:4-8: what they are, how God expresses them perfectly,
and how you express them in your own life. The fruit of the Spirit is
Love.
Many listeners have asked about a meditation on the expressions of love
found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. This seemed like a perfect place to dig
into those attributes. I didn't set out to write a guided meditation
that was nearly an hour long, but this passage is so rich, it seemed
the only way to get everything in. I hope you grow in your own
expression of love as you meditate with me on those passages-I know I
certainly have.
Mindful Worship Meditation #24 - The Fruit of the Spirit, is the first
part of this christian meditation series; it provides an overview of
the nine fruits of the spirit. If you would like to do this particular
series of biblical meditations in order, that is the place to begin.

Mindful Worship Meditation #24 - The Fruit of the Spirit
April 5th, 2009 - Categories: Free Guided Meditations, Guided
Meditations
Fruit - A Symphony of Colors When we accept Jesus as our Lord and
Savior, the Holy Spirit begins to live in us so He can teach us and
lead us. As He lives in us, and we grow in Him, He builds nine
characteristics of Godliness in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These
are all characteristics that all followers of Jesus should be producing
in our lives. In this meditation, you will contemplate the The Fruit of
the Spirit in your own life.
This particular meditation provides an overview of the nine fruits of
the Spirit. In the upcoming guided Christian meditations, we will focus
on each of the individual fruits more deeply, so that God may more
plant them more deeply in our hearts. Be sure to let me know about your
experience with this Christian guided meditation in the comments.

Mindful Worship Meditation #23 - Then I Will Teach
March 29th, 2009 - Categories: Guided Meditations, Premium Guided
Meditations
Peace Be With You This meditation is the last of a three part series on
Psalm 51. In Mindful Worship Meditation #21 - Have Mercy on Me, O God,
we examined the first 6 verses as David laments over his sin of
committing adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband Uriah,
and asks God to forgive him. In Mindful Worship Meditation #22 - Create
in Me a Pure Heart, we contemplated verses 7 through 12 where David
asks God to clean him, renew him, and restore him. In this mediation we
see David's response to God's grace. He begins by saying, Then I Will
Teach.
When I originally began to write the first meditation in this series, I
was only going to do a few particular verses from this Psalm. As I
meditated on it in my own life though, I realized that every line holds
life-changing truth that needs to be seriously contemplated. A single
meditation would probably be more than an hour long though, so I
decided to present it in a three-part series. This is the last of those
three parts. I am now planning to do more series type meditations that
will build and elaborate on each other and allow us to go deeper into
the study and personal application of God's Word. Let me know what you
think in the comments. (Photo by Anna Gay. Original on flickr. Licensed

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
